This is going to be an interesting chess stage. Movistar already hit the pedals hard this week and exposed some weakness on the Skybot train. Albeit it's still early, but they'll want to check the barometer today. Two thing come to mind; A) Movistar has matured as a team and B) Kick them when...
Is it my imagination or is Sagan pulling a Cipo and controlling the peloton so Conti can catch his breath a recover a bit? Crap, I think even I could drink 2 Red Bulls and finish this stage with the bunch the way they are rolling so far.
Anyhow, the pace seems to benefit Conti...

Fair points...I would say that Contador being older and wily has probably figured this out already, I mean, he reads these forums religiously right?... :-)
My fear is that Stinkoff gets caught out when they shouldn't and pay the...
Big Tom is just savage. He is my new sentimental favourite. He doesn't quit and just plows on. He's a giraffe on two wheels that probably pushes 550 -600 climbing watts and still has enough gas to hang in there to finish near the pure climbers. This is great entertainment!
Doesn't matter what Sky did today. The cobbles will tell the tale of TDF 2015. Just as much as the hills and just as much as riding smartly as possible. What if Froomella has a crap day on stones? Nib will smell blood and gain some time back and then Sky will suck again (or continue to suck.)...

The Tour should be won by someone who is the most strongest and skilled all around, not just by some hill climbing robot who stares at his handlebars...
Contador/Froome - One bad day from either and it's over. Conti sentimental favourite cos he's got Nibali style cajones going for the double.
Froome/Contador - Froome has less 'hard' race days than Conti. But Froome's a wuss so he'll never try to double up. No cajones on Sky.
Quintana - He'll win...
I'm wondering with all the incidental misfortune Conti has experienced in this Giro if it will really take away or diminish energy/efforts for the Tour. It's been rough on everyone, but not everyone is doing the double let alone try to win both...
Contador said it himself: Aru not as good as Landa TODAY, so he let him go saving energy and chilled with Aru and then pipped him at the line for four seconds. I think Conti could have matched Landa for the stage, but at a certain energy expense for the week.
Sometimes defence is the best...
