Stick a fork in Alberto Contador

Tour Vuelta Contador with his Giro form would have made for a much different race. I like the idea of a Tour Vuelta double. Depending on the routes it could be possible.

    Contador blasts LA

I have to agree with that. This sounds like the seventh grade. Give them both a lollipop. Maybe a staff member will write a "tell all" book so we can see "what really happened, day-to-day in the 2009 TDF". Wow! Now wouldn't that be nauseatingly exciting. At least some schlub could make...

Astana leads protest against radio ban

Obviously we don't see much, but on the Versus coverage they flip to Garmin's or Columbia's car and what Brian Holm or Matt White say to the riders is lame anyway: "there is a climb coming and it..uh...goes up hill for 3KM and then turns and then goes up some more..." duh.

    Contador's "surprise" attack

AGREED. The thing is that if AC does not gain time on LA and LA grabs the Yellow, what are the team "tactics" then? My guess is defend LA's Yellow to the exclusion of anyone else. AC did what he had to do. LA would have done the same thing back in his heyday.

    Waiting for the Vuelta

    Viva La Vuelta!

You are Bruyneel: What's your plan? What are your tricks?

I think you nailed it there. Cadel was impressive in the Dauphine. He was an attacking machine although he could not drop Valverde or AC. He is minutes down though with a weaker team. He cannot get yellow too early or the other teams will rip it off him like last year. He really has to dose...

    Lance now Astana team leader...

LOL. I had not thought of it that way and I have to agree. The drama is interesting. I think when you look back at how "boring" (they were never really that boring though) some of the Tours were when Senor Lance was riding this is like base jumping on acid.

What's this, Contador caused the split?

I think either their team is imploding before our very eyes and LA is a total tool. Or Johan and LA are brilliant tacticians that are using the media and all other teams to their advantage by creating a fake rift in the team to secure the win and as many top ten finishes as possible for Astana...

TdF official thread: Stage 3 Marseille-Grand Motte (196.0km)

This kitten has claws I guess. Does someone need a nap? If they were riding as a team and protecting their leader then they would have actually done so. No one actually knows what the "tactics" were (if any), or if LA did warn AC about a possible break, but we can only guage what happened by...

TdF official thread: Stage 3 Marseille-Grand Motte (196.0km)

good point that no one else was there, but he should not be losing time to even to LA if the team was working as one unit.

TdF official thread: Stage 3 Marseille-Grand Motte (196.0km)

Teams only have room for one leader that is for sure. When you have too many chiefs and not enough indians all these shenanigans happen. AC all alone? That is a travesty. First, the LA should have been attentive enough and alerted AC to what was going to happen. Second, the team should have...

    The Astana Battle..

I would speculate he is talking about Lance as I cannot imagine Alberto behaving that way. It would seem rather idiotic to post that on Twitter though. I really wonder what game they are playing...

Where do I find upcoming races?

I am lost on that as well. Any help would be appreciated.
