    The Dumb Donald helmet

Larsson opened strong, 7th at 1st chrono, +16 behind Martin. Then Larsson managed to crash on a straight road holdning 50 kph! According to Larsson's mechanic he lost about 30s in the crash. Banged up he continued and came 16th, +3.55.72. Without the crash I'm confident he would have been top...

Who will win the Olympic ITT?

Yeah, his big goals this year was TdF and the Olympic TT, so there is a risk he will not be at is absolute best in the worlds. But on the otheer hand, gold in the Worlds would really be an amazing end to a spectacular season.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/2012-vuelta-a-espana-start-list Concerning Lovkvist, he had a knee problem during Tour de Suisse, and it continued to bother him so he had to see some experts in London for help. He should be back in training and ready to compete soon, he is listed as a...

Who will win the Olympic ITT?

So if he doesn't get any new injuries, we could expect a real battle in the worlds, given Wiggo can recharge his batteries after some amazing weeks.

Vuelta 2012: Stage Profiles and Analysis

Should be an "easy" one for Froome and Sky. Dominate the TTT to gain some time on Contador, then Froome will take a minute on Contador on the long ITT. Sky to push a hard and steady pace in the mountains dropping all of Condators domestiques and isolating him, thereby making him work harder -...

Who will win the Olympic ITT?

It is clear that Wiggo has improved more than Martin and Canc this year (injuries have hampered further improvement for Martin and Canc). When you compare his performance yesterday and last year at the worlds relative other riders it obvious that he has taken quiet a leap. So imo, he is close to...

Quiet weak performance by Ye in the 4x200 freestyle relay. Commentators saying she looked "human" today.

Who will win the Olympic ITT?

The crash in the olympic RR must have been really hard for him. He had the perfect race up until he crashed and a real good chance of winning. He will never get such a chance again of winning an olympic RR. And as a viewer I'm ****ed I never got the see the attack he was setting up - it would...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

I know there are differences and I wasn't claiming they are equal. London course probably suited Wiggo a bit more than the Copenhagen course. Interesting is the average speed for the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th place (those I checked) were more or less the same for both courses. Many riders had...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Still 3300 kilometers. I'm just very sceptic of the possibility to performing 100% in two GT in a row, even if it is the easier double TdF-Vuelta. Less than 3 weeks to the Vuelta from today. Froome's body must react to the intense last month of riding, being fit again in just a couple of...
