Did anyone see Cav getting blocked - I didn't

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT !!! this was a minor racing incident and I have been at the end of and have seen much worse. It was a hand off because the rider was pressing him towards the side of the road. I think Cav made a little too much of it as well but as for 'chucking him out of the race'...

If I get back into cycling, does it mean I have to shave my legs?

I 'trim' mine with clippers so you look kind of normal in the gym but not like some bigfoot in tight lycra...... and it does attract ladies who are fascinated by it !!

    Tour de France Difficulty

I think it was Henri Desernage that while scoping out a mountain stage drove up the mountain, got stuck in snow so started walking spent the next 5-6 hours walking through a blizzard to get through the pass and nearly died of hypothermia, when asked if the stage was possible said basically 'No...

Jaksche says 2009 Tour winner will be a doper

I think there should be some amnesty to the riders who are caught and tell all (not in a book or to the press) but to UCI or AFLD or the police and we can see this from Kohl and Jaksche, the peloton say they are bitter but the peloton and management are probably shi++ing themselves. Make this...

    Vultures, Vampires and Doping

Mello I have to disagree there are posts that get started that want to talk about riding and racing, but too many of the 'senior members'!!! (contradiction in terms) always bring it back to doping with their myopic ranting and I'm not just talking about LA but everyone. Of course there are...

Contador national TT champion: did they give it to him?

I remember a race in Majorca that finished on the sea front and after a load of us headed to the beach to have a swim in the sea, we put on shorts (short running style ones) and wandered onto the beach and the looks we got from the other people was amazing it was a look of disgust !! I looked at...

Riders tactics and styles - NO DOPING COMMENTS

I find when I spin while I don't feel it in my legs as much I do seem to raise my HR more and then feel like I go anaerobic quicker but when I use a bigger gear I muscle my way up, but on a longer hill I think the HR would settle where the muscles would fatigue and die. I don't really have long...

So, who do actually want to win the TdF?

Bro funny enough I am in the Evans camp after watching him at the Dauphine, at last years tour with the accident and everything he became really odd and I thought he was having a bit of a break down, but at the dauphine he showed some real guts when he kept attacking.

    Speech by Greg Lemond

Sorry nobody you are saying you know Hinault ?? I really don't want to have to trawl the web finding crap about Hinault because it's all there including drug allegations, bullying, Omerta. I think Hinault and Merckx are probably the greatest of the great but again they were no angels and we...

Response to Lance threads...My Opinion...Where is Pro Cycling headed?

Actually Melo the funniest comment on there is Bruyneel on Dmitriy Muravyev, basically he say he worked hard at being last in the giro but as he is the only Kazakh rider we need to include him !!!

Rhubroma - I am actually ignoring this comment as the thread was starting to get back on track with something interesting not sad little comments like this.

Riders tactics and styles - NO DOPING COMMENTS

Zoncolan, Yeah Charly Gaul had a faster cadence style than most but still not in that 100+ range but I think that was more about the choice of gearing and therefore riders only had a very limited selection and they tended to ride with bigger gears.
