I am very confident Alberto will find a way to crack Froome in the mountains, and crack him really big! Also my advice is not to count him out from TTs as well. Maybe the good old Alberto will have a few surprises for you even today! :)

Could it be the allergy or the high temperatures in this stage? I remember he had a similar stage in the Vuelta 2012 where he limited his losses to 39 sec or something. There should be some explanation for this. I refuse to believe this is his form at the moment...

In my opinion he is toying in these races, looking who can do what and doesn't give his current 100% in a way to deceive the competition for when it will count. I've seen these many times with other cyclists and even other sports. I do understand he is not even close to top form in reality but...

What a pity. I was so excited about this Giro-Tour stuff. Contador is missing a very good opportunity here. I really hope he knows what he is doing! Anyway, I don't think it is a final decision. There is still time and depending on how he feels he can decide and do both.
