    Official London Olympics Doping thread

'More than 100 athletes were also caught using banned substances in the months leading up to the Games following increased testing by national and international anti-doping agencies, designed to root out cheats before they arrived in London.' But they don't flagellate themselves in public...

Doping in MMA/UFC - Fighter Says 85-95 Percent of Fighters Use PEDs

I recall an interview with a prominent NFL player in the mid 80's who was asked if he knew any players who were on steroids. His reply was that he didn't know any that weren't.

    State Sponsored Doping

Speaking of nationally mandated and sanctioned doping programmes...aren't North Korea doing well in the weightlifting??!!

    LeMond I

You could apply the same rationale to Wiggins in that case yet there are a few on here who are happy to speculate with no evidence about him. For the record I loved watching Greg race, it was he who got me interested in racing. Do I believe he was clean when all around him were dirty? I would...

    Olympic Road Race Men

At the end of the day, after all the bleating is done Vino took his chance and rode a good race. The guy who probably would have won (FC) managed to take himself out through a rookie mistake but thats racing when all the if's, but's and should haves are accounted for the best man won on the day.

Podium 2012 tour result if Alberto Contador and Andy Schleck competed?

I thought that I would have to go a while before I witnessed anything as boring as this years Tour, it was quite depressing....then I found this thread!! Now the Tour doesn't seem so bad..thanks OP!:D

    Strava sued over cyclist death

OMG,only in America! How could the cyclist be expected to know that he wasn't supposed to speed without the manufacturer of his bike computer telling him! While I feel for the parents their anger should be levelled at the cyclist not the damn GPS manufacturer.

    "Tour de Bore"

To be honest, watching Froome it was Ricco that immediately sprang to mind. For his speed up hills of course.

Wiggins in clean tour win shocker?

I think doping was rampant in this Tour. Unfortunately, from watching it I think most of the riders outside of Sky seem to have made a switch to tranquillizers...'call me Mellow Yellow'

    "Tour de Bore"

Not much happened apart from Froome showing what a complete knob he was and also showing everyone that he can surge up the road in 20 metre bursts when the race is effectively over. What Wiggo showed today, was that he is the strongest rider in the Tour. What we will see next year is a...

    "Tour de Bore"

This is what you get when schools spend years promoting 'non-competitive sports' Christian has said there will be no winner this year but that every rider who gets to Paris will get a 'participants medal'. Peter Sagan is reported as saying 'F%&k the medal, just give me my Porsche!!'

Best and worst teams in 2012 Tour

To be fair to Euski, Isagear (necessary on a bike) got a bit of tv time as did Martinez. Green Edge were a total disappointment to me, especially Gerrans who was total no show.

    Wiggins Discussion thread.

I agree with you there, Froome's display was pathetic, I lost all respect for him right there.

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

I did say 'usually', he did ok in the final TT last year when he had to perform. Perhaps you could tell me where I said 'loads of climbers would be up there with Wiggins' What I said is that it is nonsense to suggest...as you did..that being both a good climber AND good at the ITT 'defied' some...
