Reading about the big covid testing day...So if they now have protocols/staff to test everyone for covid, will that procedure carry over to doping control protocols? Will the future be covid, doping, etc all in one process?

I think it could be argued that Jakobsen could win all 5, but that would still be of less significance if Cavendish won a single stage.

Crying shame. They should let him take a spot with another team. Hard to believe he can have form 3 years in a row. This is likely his last shot.

Re: Re: Oh good. I saw his name listed and was thinking I can't remember even seeing him on camera in a race this year. I guess he could be seen as valuable in the TTT but again haven't seen him do much and EF education has been on a roll with a lot of riders on the team deserving that spot.

You got to be kidding me that Phinney is on the team. What a waste of a spot.

I thought this year might be his last chance to get the record. Too bad, knew he was tailing off but was hoping to see one last good year.

That was the worst most boring road race I have ever watched. Glad for sagan, but what a horrible race. I realize it was a race of attrition with the distance, but I didn't think only 15K would be worth watching in a 260K race.

Well if they give him a leadership role in a GT then he certainly will not be lacking in a supporting cast with Movistar. I guess come May we will get to see if he can actually back up all his whining.
