Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

I think these are just hearsay, based on market value, similar to current Pog contract at UAE. This figure has been widely circulated in all media and is entirely credible IMHO.

Remco vs Paul, who will have the best LBL result in 2026?

that's tricky because the terrain suits Remco better, but the result of Seixas in Fleche Wallone has shown he can play on all fronts. So I vote Paul, I don't think the lenght of the race is such an issue for him.

Tour of the Alps 2026, April 20-24

Is this race used as a prep for LBL ???

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

It's not just a question of being more mature simply thanks to mother nature, I think it's mainly because training of Seixas from 15 to 18 years old was much more substantial and structured than Pog at the same age. He still has the same coach he had when he was 16. His progress over the past...

I guess the other scenario for Seixas would be to put a hard pace from the very beginning of the final Mur, taking the risk to collapse before the end line.

I hope this time there is a small chance for a breakaway with some big names a little before Mur de Huy. With Remco I think that possibility would have been even stronger.

This race reminds me a picture of Moreno Argentin with Miguel Indurain in a breakaway in the rain. That was 36 years ago and I was young and innocent lol.

Teams & Riders Matteo Jorgenson and his inexorable rise to the top

This is a real blow for him. He seemed to be in really great shape yesterday.

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

Very good point. I was waiting for the moment when someone would finally quote him 😀 Nothing to do with, but imagine the look on the shopkeeper's face when Wemby walks into a bike shop to buy a racing bike. "Hmm, let's see what we can do, but it's gonna complicated....."

Can we just settle on his forum name?

I just learned in a podcast that one of his coaches when he was U15/U17 nicknamed him "Texas Instrument" because during group outings where the youngsters were fighting and doing whatever they wanted, he followed precisely the training zone instructions that had been set with the coach without...

    Paul Seixas

I agree. I mentioned the age of 10 simply to emphasize that this particular boy has been preparing for a professional career for a very long time. Since joining the world tour last year, he has incorporated the latest key elements into his training (altitude training camps, a very strict diet...
