    Review of the tour!

Best win of the tour? - Vinokourov Best Stage of the tour? - Stage 3 (for putting the life back in the tour after Stage 2) Quote of the tour... - The "bleeding carrots" still gets me now. Dissapointment of the tour? - Stage 2 Surprise of the tour? - Hesjedal What are you looking forward to...

Will Radio Shack be back in 2011?

Radioshack committed to a two year deal with an optional extension beyond 2011, and I think a lot of the riders signed on for 2 years, so they will be in the fight next year. With all the expected Armstrong media coverage , and the publicity shot of the team on the TDF podium, the sponsors...

    General complaint thread

And then there's the forum for building up to and coming down from each event which must add up to a further 100+ days to keep your head solely focused on cycling. And. And using the logic of the above (very paraphrased just to shorten my post) statement. The constant disagreements in these...

    Should You Wear Team Kits?

To be fair I think it would be the same for my local club. (I was re-introduced to cycling a couple of years ago by a good friend who is in that club, lending me his bikes and shoes etc and he keeps inviting me out - their weekend rides are when I have to put my family time in!).

    Should You Wear Team Kits?

Don't see any issue at all with the team jersey out on the road, but agree with the "be prepared" comments that a lot of you guys warn about. It would be nice having the option to support your team, without this attitude. Especially for those of us who are neither the youngest, speediest down...

    Renshaw out

Rules are rules, all the riders should know them, there aren't many. Renshaw out, correct decision.

    Tdf Stage 11 - Thursday, July 15 2010, Sisteron - Bourg-lès-Valence, 180 km

A couple of offences there according to the race rules (UCI and ASO). 1) Voluntary obstruction and unauthorised manoeuvres are forbidden and will be penalised. 2) riders who deviate from the line they have chosen will be subject to (the) penalties 3) Competitors who commit assault. . . . ...

    Tdf Stage 11 - Thursday, July 15 2010, Sisteron - Bourg-lès-Valence, 180 km

I'd like to see Vino and Voigt to go on a mad breakaway just for the hell of it - (well just to keep me entertained actually) But, back to reality and the bleeding obvious . . . Pineau / Charteau to chase up the hill for the spots at about 2.00 Hushovd / Petacchi chasing points at 2.45...

    TDF Stage 9 - Tuesday, July 13 2010, Morzine-Avoriaz - Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, 204 k

Well, i've just had a look through the route on google earth, and a peek at the weather forecast - it's going to be a grand day out  Could be some more big time losses if the likes of Vino and LA can't keep the water flowing. http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-app/tourdefrance

Tour de France Stage 6: Montargis - Gueugnon, 225 km

Like your choice Rooboy - Arashiro did promise an attack today, so he owes us one. He just needs to take one of the mad Katusha boys (like Ivanov) as they're always up for it. A couple more to share the workload and who knows. Hopefully no-one too interested in the chase as the game changes...

Tour de France Stage 5: Epernay - Montargis, 185 km

Hopefully not Thor - as someone mentioned the other day, would like to see a little competition for the jersey.

Tour de France Stage 5: Epernay - Montargis, 185 km

I think Cav for the win today - not based on form, but based on the need of Columbia to get their tour on track. Can they afford to fail again? 6 stage wins targeted before the race, and today is the third chance already. With another two of these being in the last three days of the tour...

Tour de France Stage 2 Brussels - Spa, 192 km Monday, July 5 2010

Might be a bit longer, depends on how much time is lost when Cancellara leads the rest of the Peloton pushing their bikes over the damp cobbles.

Tour de France Stage 2 Brussels - Spa, 192 km Monday, July 5 2010

I thought I saw the race director pulling alongside Chavanel after the crash and talking to him? Anyone hear (a report of) what was said?

Tour de France Stage 2 Brussels - Spa, 192 km Monday, July 5 2010

Chavanel got the 25 points and the time - no other points awarded for the finish
