Giro - Tour double now feasible ?

From what I have read it has to do with the Tour starting a week later than usual. So that extra week of rest will SUPPOSEDLY allow Dawg and Dum. to be more competitive this year. But like the others stated, let's wait and see.

    Official Valverde thread.

Not that anyone cares, but on my part, Bala is easy to like and almost root for at this point. He entered with Kelme in the blood doping era known as the "Undefeated One". He has always been at the front of the race, since the beginning. Also, he is one of the few that actually was banned due to...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Re: Re: So Ryder doped and won big but hadn't been punished? Or are you referring to his Chicken dance? So you are really reaching now because logically Contador is the only winner who could really even come close to the scenario that you are implying whether I got they year correct or not...

Re: Re: Can't let this one slide by Parker. Contador HAD been punished by the Spanish Fed. already. WADA appealed because of the short length of said ban. So he was free to ride and had been punished. (BTW Mick Rodgers was let off scott free for the same infraction as Contador). This is a...

Doping in the Iditarod ...yes, the dogs

Hardly surprising considering what is being done to race horses. Heck back in the day, when I was in high school I had a good friend who was diagnosed as narcoleptic. She was prescribed ritalin and something else. Her father would take her ritalin pills and give them to his roosters before c0ck...

Lappartient is worse for cycling than Cookson?

Re: This exactly. Use the radios as a one way deal from the Race Referee to the riders to keep them informed of road conditions etc... No communication via radio to team cars from riders. If you need something, drop back to the car, and learn to read the race. Banning power meters would be a...

    Doping in XC mtb

The WC results are always worth taking a peek at. The results always seem a little strange, like the Olympic race.

Re: It is hard to judge the grade of the hill or if there is any slope at that point. But the man with his arm around his left side hardly seems to be pushing as the bike does seems to accelerate without a pedal stroke.

UCI MTB World Cup (All forms!)

I am really impressed by Nino. He had to fight for it yesterday. Absalon too, he is going to be ready for WC. Very interested to see how Katie Courtney does in the elites. It has been a loooong time since a US citizen won an elite XC race. I thought Georgia Gould would but it never happened...

    Bobridge - ugh...

Ahh so taking a shot at Delgado didn't make you feel better? If you were "really" joking then apologies in order on my part. You read all 66 of my posts in 3 minutes? Topic, scope and everything! Impressive! It'll take me a while to look through your 1000's of posts(it must be like drugs to you).

    Bobridge - ugh...

Get off your high horse Mr. Incognito. Everyone is their own chemist, and pretty sure you are on something(as I sip my lovely Peet's drip coffee) Whether it's caffeine, some sort of prescribed pill prescribed by your local legal drug pusher(MD), beer, wine, liquor, you are on something most...

    Motor doping thread

This is what is great about the clinic and why it is so valuable. This discussion is rich with material and while it asks many questions, there are still many more. But you all are on to something. I look at my ipad, or my iphone, just those two devices alone let me know that motors in bikes do...

    Doping in XC mtb

I thought about this thread for awhile and I began to wonder: Why would any top level XC racer(think Absalon, Nino, Kulhavy, Sauser, etc) stay in XC racing when there is so much more money in road racing. Jakob Fuglsang pops to mind who is doing well on the road, and he wasn't even winning at...

    Doping in XC mtb

Raced XC mt bikes since 94 up until 2012 when the courses have become too short. FM was a big bust at the time I believe he was World Champion. I forgot the name of the cyclist who gave Miguel Martinez him his spot after admitting doping. MR the chicken comes from the mt bike arena. Supposedly...
