Wondering the same, quite the lacklustre performances in 2025. Maybe he's still developing on the road and still got to complete the switch, so maybe they've seen some potential.

Tadej is certainly the best. Can win everything, everywhere, in every possible way. But MVDP, when he finds his legs, he's a sight to behold. A statue on the bike, powerful yet agile, funneling those insane watts like no one. So I can't choose because I love them both, and I hope to see them...

Well a top 3 and a top 10 in the TdF. Who would've guessed. That's quite a decent showing after all the tactical mishaps done. If they raced with more acumen they could've probably got away with more. But I guess they can come home quite satisfied.
