I much prefer watching women's MTB and CX over men's, but road cycling can be a tortuous watch?

    Paris-Roubaix 2026, one day monument, April 12

Just started watching 'A Sunday In Hell' again, and had forgotten how beautiful it is :) "The merciless process of elimination has begun" View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUDhvIXCtKk&list=WL&index=1

Gutted I couldn't watch L'Hote's win today, as that would have been a peak CQ game experience. Madly cheering on a rider you know little about, in a regional French race. In the perspective of 2026 though, he's just scored more than my entire team, bar Sexias, have in Catalunya and Itzulia...

Great win by Laurance. Disappointing lack of handlebar-banging from G2.

Van Wilder and THJ start riding and the gap starts coming down. Wonder if the riders were as ill-informed as us as to the situaton?

Rare to see riders get away on a descent these days. Really hope these two make it.

Beginning to get a bit worried about Brenner. Third consecutive DNF, and maybe his injury issues have returned? Vansevant, Verstrynge and Kron might get some minor placing/stage points at Itzulia, but wasn't expecting much more. Good news is that all my team have managed to swerve...

One of the few in the current peleton you really enjoy watching descend. I'm liking him more and more.

Ronde van Vlaanderen 2026, monument, April 5 (men's)

Agree with your overall pessimism, but this has been the most enjoyable classics season for a few years for me, with most of the breaks being chased down. And I don't think tomorrow will be any different. Pog rides away with 50 or 40k to go. Lets assume MVDP, WVA, Pedersen, Evenepoel aren't...

After Gee's disastrous Catalunya. Brennan's illness means the crucial classics look like being a wipeout. My two most expensive picks and main differentiators are currently dead weights. Meanwhile, the Evenepoel, Ujitderberoeks, Tiberi, maybe even Landa teams look like having a good week...

Williams was of the few riders I did some research on, and he said it wasn't likely he'd even be training again before spring. Thought it was worth the gamble that he'd be fit in time for the autumn races where he could go well. Poole is the opposite, as didn't realise his problems were ongoing?

Dwars door Vlaanderen 2026, April 1

Could see WVA , Hagenes and maybe Laporte getting away on one of the bergs, ideally for maximum amusement, with Vermeersch and Morgado. But RBH and Decathlon showed on Sunday how effective they've become at chasing, then you have Ganna/Tarling who will contribute for the training miles if...
