Agree with your overall pessimism, but this has been the most enjoyable classics season for a few years for me, with most of the breaks being chased down. And I don't think tomorrow will be any different. Pog rides away with 50 or 40k to go. Lets assume MVDP, WVA, Pedersen, Evenepoel aren't...

After Gee's disastrous Catalunya. Brennan's illness means the crucial classics look like being a wipeout. My two most expensive picks and main differentiators are currently dead weights. Meanwhile, the Evenepoel, Ujitderberoeks, Tiberi, maybe even Landa teams look like having a good week...
