The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

Not having Del Torro or Magnier has been pretty painful over the last few weeks, and that's likely to continue in my quest for a top ten finish. Currently have a 400 point buffer over 18-Valve in 11th so it will likely be decided by how well the following riders perform. Me Ciccone Powless...

    European Championship 2025: Men’s ITT, October 1

That's a lot of podiums and no wins. Was noticeable that he'd taken off his medal before leaving the stage. No interest in it. With his skillset, maybe he could see the rest of his career being defined by the participation, or absence, of one of the goats?

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Eh? His original schedule was Pologne/One-dayers/Luxembourg, which was ideal for The Worlds, as Healey, Skjelmose and Skujins showed. Vuelta most definitely wasn't, but he got parachuted into it for weird UAE reasons, once Pogacar dropped out. No one who did that race performed well. Ciccone...

The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

We're on a very similar trajectory, having been in the top three for most of the season until the Vuelta. For me, Ayuso keeps finding different ways of being a bad pick, while Ciccone rode the worst possible race in terms of this game. Like you, just hoping for a top ten now. Worlds: Ayuso...

    Lesser known races 2025 edition

Yes, De Lie's ridden this before and knowing the final K looked a big advantage for him and Meuss. Brennan, understandably, still learning a lot.

De Lie's ridden this quite cleverly for a change. Surely he's still quicker than Brennan in a spring?

Looks like this bridge is the approach to the final 100 metres, which is reasonably steep, but a good surface. Will probably be between the first few who make the left turn on to it, as there isn't that much space.

    Lesser known races 2025 edition

Speaking of citadels, am visiting Luxembourg City for the first time, for tomorrow's stage. Have already seen a couple of riders stopping their recce to take some photos on Pont De Chateau. The views on either side are astonishing. Including Pablo Torres, who unfortunately, now seems to sporting...

    Canadian Classics 2025

Another great ride by Barre. Got dropped repeatedly early on, then again in the final selection, and finishes sixth. Have said it before, but seems amazing that IWG were the only team to see his potential.

    Canadian Classics 2025

Politics aside, he's one of the most aggressive riders in the peleton. Difficult not to like him for that alone in the current era of cycling.

Why was Simmons doing so much work for Skjelmose when he was clearly the strongest? Lidl tactics all over the place again.

Does anyone know why Pithie has been so mediocre this season? Does he have a long-term injury issue?

Ineos have been far more successful without him. Pidcock talks positively about the team, because they're basically built around him. He could have done this well at Ineos, but he wanted his own little fiefdom.

Riccitello really taking over from Gall at Decathlon with a late comeback.
