    Giro d'Italia 2017 STAGE 20: Pordenone – Asiago 190 km

    Giro 2017, stage 16: Rovetta – Bormio 222 km

I think TD would be happy to let Amador into the break, there will be others who feel the need to chase him down before Sunweb would be threatened. Going to be interesting to see what Astana do from here on - I was sure they were targeting the team comp to honour Scarponi but with only 7...

    2016 TdF, Stage 9: Vielha → Andorra Arcalis (185km)

Re: Re: Could be wrong but think the whole sprinting for mountain points early was just a bluff so that the likes of Quintana wouldn't panic and go with him at the top of the final climb - brilliant tactic if the case

    2015 Vuelta stage 18: Roa > Riaza 204km

Astana will ride like race leaders and agree they will have better opportunities to grab the handful of seconds needed. What could make this race a classic is the number of riders still within 5 minutes and in some cases with a teammate - things could get very difficult to control

How are the others going to beat Froome?

Re: I don't think so - if there was an alliance then someone should have bridged to the attacker so they could work together

    2015 tour d'france stage 10: Tarbes › La Pierre-Saint-Martin

Anyone think Arredondo may be in with a shout? He did pretty well in the 2 short steep finishes to date and is far enough back to perhaps get in the early break or get some freedom to attack the big boys before they start hammering each other on the climb. I haven't seen enough of him to know...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

I think it was a good move, his aim was to drop Contador not pull him along and though he couldn't he still ended up getting time on other GC rivals. If Contador doesn't grab his wheel or cracks at some point then Froome rides away while the 3 Spaniards look at each other to do the work...

2014 Vuelta a Espana, Stage 4: Mairena del Alcor → Córdoba (164.7 Km)

I was also thinking the likes of Moviestar or even Sky could ride hard - surely you want to test and hopefully put Contador under pressure as early in the race as possible?

    2014 Tour de France, Stage 16: Carcassonne–Bagnères-de-Luchon (237.5 Km)

Would be classic if after all this they fail to get a rider into the 2nd break

Critérium du Dauphiné 2014: Stage 8, Megève - Courchevel Le Praz (131.5 km)

Problem is if he responds to Nibali attack on that terrain he drags Froome and Sky with him and that sets up the counter attacks. Without a teammate I don't think he had much choice but to wait for the road to ramp up before making his move One of the most enjoyable stages I have ever watched

Evans over Gesink at 31/20 Think Gesink also soft pedalled yesterday but he will surely have to work for team mates - Evans may try something and I think its a good price Any idea what happens to bets if they only to the Alpe climb once today due to weather?

Hard to find Costa in the betting on some books and as big as 200/1 Surely based on Swiss ITT should be in the top 10 in the betting? Or am I missing something?
