everything is dependent on securing a sponsor. Chicken and the egg thing .. Cant afford top riders until they get a name sponsor, cant get a big sponsor until they get top GC riders. Fundamentally, the challenge will be to align a sponsor, who wants Euro exposure, with the nationalistic...

    Cycle Ensenada to Tecate

I would not recomend it purely from a safety perspective. Traffic is jut to crazy. Take a bus to Ensenada & explore the roads around there, if you want a mexicain experience. Have travelled into TJ once a week for 6 months - it really was a mess. We travelled in a strengthened large van...

    SRAM Haters

I moved from Ultegra to Force 1 year ago and have done 10,000 km+ with it. I am not overly impressed. Shifting is not as good fullstop. Tolerances seem very tight and I seem to be readjusting all the time. Have had it back to the LBS many times to ensure hanger is straight, etc, etc. My...

With the Geox team exiting, is there any benefit to Greenedge ? Seems like all the spots have been filled, except 2 spots for the U23 development riders. Does the Geox team have any secondary sponsors that GE could pick up ? I am sure that there would be some support personnel scrambling to...

Not to sure, but sounds like McEwen was brought in only for a few races (to pick up his UCI points). O'Grady & Dean could be on 1 year contract, however as they both came from top teams, there must have been some more incentive - either a 2 year contract or 1 year & a job with the team.

Most Boring WorldTour Race (In General, Not This Year)?

I want to take my vote back The 3rd stage of the Tour of Beijing was surprisingly entertaining. The failure of this race however, is such a long Prologue where the race winner & podium is already decided.

    Firenze 2013

Great course What a great course , in a fantastic location with a beautiful panorama of Frienze. I have ridden the hill up to Feisole & didnt think it was that hard .. but then, I was going slow, and only had a hour of riding in the legs !! The bottom can be big ringed. Have stayed at...

Once GE lines up a title sponsor next year they can go shopping for a GC contendor. There arent to many legit ones around & they all are expensive. Objectives get on the start line, win some races, gain some credibility, pursue title sponsor.

Rainbow Jersey ? I actually think that Greenedge could have the rainbow jersey next year. The team seems to be better suited to these one day races vs stage races & the cobbled classics, and sets up very well against other teams. With the majority of the Aussie team from Greenedge along...
