    Doping In Athletics

Re: Yeah fair enough on the cramp. There certainly is a small trip, however I maintain she doesn't look like shes raising her right leg properly which leads me to believe some sort of issue. Trip + poor running form after does not look like a case of race fixing to me in any way.

    Doping In Athletics

Re: Re: Watch the video of her running the last 50 metres in slow motion. She's really struggling to raise her right knee, left leg looks just fine. This is not at all indicative of some one slowing down on purpose, unless she is a sublime actor. Most likely a cramp or some small muscle issue...

    General Doping Thread.

Re: I'll have to read more on the subject when I get time. I was hoping some one with a more medical background would be able to explain how well this would work. Further on in the paper it says how insulin can be administered in this method and adjust blood sugar levels. My degree is in...

Having trouble embedding the image above, says its too big and im not sure how to resize. Im writing a literature review on a technique called hot embossing and came across a paper on micro needles. In the paper it says "Dissolving microneedles have been used to deliver EPO(...) and human...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Re: Re: Agree. to expand on my final comment, while i think ethically on behalf of the rider it was the correct thing to do to not report it, this is another definite example of sky contradicting their 100% transparent mantra. 100% transparent does not mean totally see through apart from when...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Re: Im just watching this on bbc news now, its said the team found a needle and vitamins in his room, but didn't report it due to being "worried about his mental state" and he admitted it to the team but it was covered up. Another profound example of transparency.

    Tennis

Re: If you think a lot of top tennis players are on doping programs (I don't know if you do. I do), do you not think it is reasonable to assume that they tailor their programs to peak for the second half of the second week in slams, on the basis that they should win their first few games? On...

Re: 9 double faults and 72 unforced errors from Novak. Something went wrong. Edit: Also interestingly, stats claim he covered less distance than Istoman. Never seen this stat before but im definitely going to keep an eye on it from now on. Currently have no context as to whether 4km over 5...

Re: Re: Agree on all comments. Cilic's only slam came at the US open. I just don't think his first two big wins coming this close together are too much of a red flag. Also, Im not sure what the stats are on this, however I feel like a lot of the top guys tend to struggle in the opening few...

The Froome Files, test data only thread

Re: Re: He's talking about Blood Bags with this pushing though comment. He says Riis tells him to keep going when he thinks hes at the limit after a transfusion.

Re: I didn't watch the match, however Evans, certainly in the British press has been thought of as a huge waste of talent. I believe he's been around the top 100 for a decent amount of time now. Beating Cilic and Thiem is no reason to sound alarms just yet, lets see how far he gets.

    Wigans goes there. Cadence!

'In a statement, a spokesman for Wiggins said: “Brad’s passing comment regarding needles in the 2012 book referred to the historic and illegal practice of intravenous injections of performance-enhancing substances, which was the subject of a law change by (world cycling’s governing body) the UCI...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Re: While it has nothing to do with doping I feel it has something to do with debunking team sky's claims. If they win GT's clean simply by using marginal gains, leaving no stone unturned, looking at the course better than any other team, preparing for every eventuality, or whatever bs they...

    Olympics Doping Thread

Paula Radcliffe on bbc 1 talking about Mo saying "the key change in Mo was when he moved from Alan Story to Alberto Salazar" She then continued to talk about how the switch aided his recovery, his strength and his end of run speed. I also saw on twitter (sorry I can't find it now) a journalist...
