Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 12: Auch - Hautacam (180.6k)

His prescense has doomed the breakaway unfortunately. Lenny M and others looking for a stage win will not be amused.

Every man and his dog trying to get in the break. This might take some time!

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 12: Auch - Hautacam (180.6k)

Don't forget this is just day 1 of 3 tough days so I would not expect too many fireworks. 100 km to the first climb might well mean a breakway gets enough time to get to the finish first.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 12: Auch - Hautacam (180.6k)

Adam Yates, how will he do? Pogi's wingman. If UAE blow up early it'll be interesting, otherwise a long slow chugging of the trains in the heat, until the best two climbers ride away to sprint for the win. This might also be the stage when Roglic's GC days are well and truely declared over...

Sky/Ineos Head Carer of 14 years discovered as member of Aderlass doping ring (Megathread)

Thanks for starting the thread and doing a timeline. It's a lot easier to follow previous events with a timeline. Rozman's doping supplier (Maestro Balthazar - from the TV cartoon show, Professor Balthaazar, I suppose) I would guess is a Slovenian or Balkan. The journalists in Slovenia should...

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 11: Toulouse – Toulouse (156.8k)

UNO-X & Jayco fight out for the win - 2 teams who'll be bit players in the coming days, but chapeau Abrahamsen, and good sprint by the security guard to tackle an overexcited fan. Pogi took a tumble but seems ok. De Lie seems more like his old self too.

Innerring blog gives it ... and I've seen one forecast of gusts up to 30km/h, so we'll see who's correct!

I suppose we should look kindly on the team as they provided 3 weeks R&R to elderly and impoverished sportsmen. Just hope they don't run into any of those anti-tourists demonstrators!:)

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 11: Toulouse – Toulouse (156.8k)

Break gets lots of time, Visma hit the front near the end and speed things up, No changes on GC and people still wonder why Red Bull/Bora are paying lots of money for guys to have a cycling holiday around France. Big question is, how is Sivakov?

    State of the Peloton 2025

As the British tax payer helped out Team Sky, I wonder if some brave soul in Parliament will ask a question or two. edit - add June 4 is the earliest I can find about Sir Dave's return, so maybe Sir Jim said, "this is your problem, go fix it". edit - add2 - There is, or was, a third person...

    State of the Peloton 2025

It does remind me of the Superman Lopez doping saga of dodgy doctor, to masseur, to rider. I would not be surprised if Marcos Maynar Mariño, a Professor at the University of Extremadura, turns up in one form or another in the future, but more likely in regard to current "altitiude training"...
