Enzo Hincapie - next American Tour winner

He was 6th in the 2026 Paris-Roubaix Juniors. Maybe he'll be the next American winner of a monument.

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

I hope Seixas does well in the Tour. Of course, another major factor his the team surrounding him. Decathlon has a budget of $35-40 million, and they have some known riders on the payroll. But most of them are around 30 or older. Will they be able to help him when the road goes straight up a...

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

The three-week TdF is a different beast than a monument or even a week-long stage race. I hope Seixas hangs with the leaders until the end, but the long grind has been the undoing of many a great rider. But to see another French champion at the Tour! That would be awesome beyond words. Bad luck for Matthew. But I also think bad planning with the pedals meant that he couldn’t have a teammate’s bike at a crucial moment. That may well have cost him an opportunity to be at the front with Wout and Tadej. No one to blame but themselves.

That's why good teams win these races. Punctures and other mechanicals are going to happen. Teams must be prepared and ready along the route for every possibility. And that means making sure everyone on the team has the same cleats so they can switch bikes.
