Update on this case, seems the lenient sentence is to be appealed against:

Exactly. Or if someone shoots you and you die it's your fault for not wearing a bulletproof vest. I hope the family of the victim appeal the verdict. This idiot driver will be back on the roads around Edinburgh (where I live) in five years time.
One of the worst aspects of this sentencing was that the sherrif stated that the cyclist was partly responsible for her death because she wasn't wearing a helmet.
I reckon Wiggins initially aimed at the Giro because the team management gently guided him down that path: "you'd really make history if you won the Giro, whereas two Tour wins is less historic" and Wiggins' ego agreed. Plus, Wiggins has said he hadn't enjoyed the Tour last year. Now the bad...
Bit late for Christmas but your dad might like my book (shameless plug alert!):

More importantly than him being a Brit is that he's a mod, and mods never took drugs...oh, wait a sec...
For what it's worth - which is nothing - I actually believe that he's telling the truth.
Wiggins tweeted earlier that he had bought his Pinarello. Is that something he would do if Pinarello were staying on as Sky sponsor? Could Specialized be about to sponsor Sky? Or is Wiggins just buying the bike because it's likely to get replaced by a 2012 edition?
Conjecture, conjecture...
You mean English, not British. You lost to the English at cricket. Aussies have a rivalry with the English, not the Scots, Welsh or Northern Irish. Us Scots have no rivals, except the English. :D
