So now I'm reading here that freaking Paris-Roubaix is more important and bigger than the Vuelta. It's not even funny. People need to get a grip of reality. Grand Tours are in a different stratosphere compared to monuments. Everything else is just fanboyism and coping.

Pogacar will not double a Tour-Vuelta in his career. Not because of spring classics but because he is always fried after the Tour. August is his weakest month of the year - regardless of him doing the classics or not.

You are missing the picture. Remco CHOSE to go to Redbull. They wanted to sign him and they can't force him to ride the TDF.

Of course Vingegaard is the man to beat. But with some more TTs in the Giro Evenepoel will have much better chances than in the Tour.

Competition matters, not parcours. A fully fit Remco can destroy del Toro in the high mountains the same way he did it in Lombardia.

I'm 100% sure that 'star' riders don't have a clause in their contracts that forces them to do the Tour. And about the Roglic argument - he did the Tour because this was HIS decision.

I hope Remco doesn't do the Tour. He is a star rider and shouldn't be forced to only 'participate' for the sponsors. Full focus and all in for the Giro and Vuelta.
