I see here some funny confusions. It's funny because Jimenez was first in 2009. Ruben Plaza was second but he celebrated. Some months later Jimenez has a positive control and Plaza was declared winner. About Hector Guerra, he crashed in 2007.

I remember some rainy days like 2007 Viseu ITT and 2008 Torre (last 3 km). In 2007 prologue rained in the podium ceremony... and it was in Portimão.

Yes, seems like it's a sure deal, but last year FPC had the same speech, National team didn't ride Volta thinking about Tour de l'Avenir and, at the end, they didn't ride any of them. No Volta a Portugal and no Avenir. We will see what happens.

Tour de l'Avenir is a 20-nations race for the best 20 teams on Nations Cup rank. 21 teams are ranked and Portugal have no points. Maybe Hong Kong and another one won't ride? I'm curious.

Top-20: 19 World Tour guys + Tiago Machado. 8 months ago some people were saying he must comeback to Portugal because he didn't have World Tour or Conti Pro level. Look at him now

It's epic! It's unbelievable we can see a portuguese guy winning Tour de Suisse, once, twice, three times in a row. This time with rainbow jersey and we can listen people yelling "Vamos Rui, Vamos Rui" (Go Rui, Go Rui). This people are in Suisse for decades and now they have a portuguese guy...

Tiago Machado from 2010, when he gone to Radioshack: 1 victory 10 second positions 8 third positions. He's a great rider, but hasn't luck. In Murcia was a guy better (Valverde). Today was Dennis. Last year at Algarve' stage 1 Martens, at West-Vlaanderen's prologue Kristoff Vandewalle. He...

You're right in second part, but not at all. In portuguese cycling (it's the reality that I know) the doping starts in under-15 races and there's some positives in under-19 races. Some are known but not all.

Well, I can't put my hands in the fire for anyone. Just for me. I never dope, but i'm not a pro sportsman. About Rui. I think Rui Costa has a consistent progress. He was allways a good talent and evolved step by step from the Nations Cup U23 to Mr. Rainbow. In Portugal we had Liberty...
