I assume he went down in the crash 5 km from the finish. Pedersen should obviously be able to win this anyway, but now we won't know whether Skjelmose could actually have beat him.
I believe his father was working for CERN at the time, but I don't know how long that employment lasted. I don't think they live there for long after JF was born.
Blume Levy looked quite a lot like Wærenskjold compared ot the rest, but he doesn't have the same kind of speed. Kubiš getting second despite nearly being boxed in was pretty good.
Julius Johansen has been sandbagging for longer than that. They will ride a duo ITT to the finish and finally prove to Visma that signing Vingegaard instead of them was a big mistake, big, huge!
