Comfortably rode all the way to the finish with enough gas in the tank I think. He's been doing well so far!

Los Machucos is really brutal. Some of the sections seem super steep. I think Quintana will be the first to attack on this one and probably will be given some freedom by both Lopez and Roglic. At some point Quintana's TDF fatigue should also kick in and probably he will crack - today or some...

Yeah Quintana had a lot of promise but Froome was too strong when Quintana peaked and now the field has many other contenders. Probably stage hunting is all that is left for Nairo. Weirdly enough I'd still like to see him somehow clinch the Tour. Hoping against hope!

So what sort of a year can we except from Nairo this time around? Showed up well in Tour of Columbia. Stage 6 was an awesome surprise.

Nairo clearly doesnt have the legs. Too much weight / lack of training. Call it what you want. This was "suppose" to be his stage, his style of riding. He is not in shape. He is only 33 seconds behind but that will probably become 1.33 at the end of the time trail. Yates will surely put in a lot...

This Vuelta has Nairo written all over it. TBH it is Nairo's to lose. Pretty weak field - some actually weak / some have different objectives. I would really expect Nairo to take this one. Has to be patient though. Dont know why he attacked today. Not really his style.

What a stage for Nairo. Did really well. This was Nairo at full steam attacking a full steam Sky Team. Remember when he attacked Sky had at least 4 domestiques. Fab result for him. Froome finally cracked today. I hope he cracks big time on Friday but I dont see Thomas or Dumoulin crack...
