re ultracycling so it would seem to be entirely possible, in fact quite likely, that cycling 277.25 miles in 12 hours in 1967, would have constituted a world record at that point in time? Because, if so, this is one of the most remarkable world records that have ever been set.

Can someone out there enlighten me as to which other countries apart from England/UK have an official 12 hour time-trial record/competition ?
