    Vuelta a España 2019 stage 9: Andorra La Vella - Cortals d'Encamp > 94.4km

Soler is employed as a domestique. Yes, a domestique can win stages. However, with 3kms to go, Soler was never going to win today's stage. His public display against his team was him trying to minimise his own failings on this stage. He should be told to leave Movistar. He looked like an idiot...

He could not have thrown away his earpiece. His manager gave him instructions through his earpiece. In my job, I can't just say that I know better than my manager and disregard his instructions to me. He disrespected Quintana by flicking his elbow. Numerous times he was seen on live t.v...

Yes, great team tactics. Get the domestiques up the road early on and then they can help the main men towards the finish. I love when I see this tactic on the mountain stages. Except when a domestique thinks that he is better than the "main men", like Marc Soler Today. Yuk.

No, I was not considering that fact. But Movistar pay Soler's salary. Do Movistar want Soler to be Valverde or Quintana in 2020 ? Soler must have notions of being a "great" among the peloton. If I went public about my disagreements in my job, my company would no longer want my services. Marc...

On a great day for Movistar, Marc Soler showed arrogance and that he is not a "team player". If he has problems with his manager he should discuss them privately and not make negative gestures towards his team on live television. His contract shoud be terminated.

    Il Giro

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzehRzYgYlMBack in 1980s the Giro was turning people inside-out ... And remember Hinault and Lemond. Great days. But we didn't have Eurosport. We just had brief highlights on T.V. or newspaper reports.

Re: Re: Well if that rider is Italian, and the commisares say it is legal, then why not. If he is a cheat, he should not ne allowed in the race. Maybe we are going off topic here. I want Pierre Roland to win.

It seems the Tifosi are neutral. In 1987 they were spitting wine at Stephen Roche after his "attack" on Visentini. Ah, great days. The Giro is always different.

Re: Re: And yesterday he tried but was angry that Quintana and Nibali followed his wheel to protect their G.C. places. Why should he be angry at riders just defending their place on G.C.. Quintana and Nibali had nothing left to shorten their overall gaps on Dumoulin, so they were just defending...

    Giro d'Italia 2017 STAGE 20: Pordenone – Asiago 190 km

The Giro has been a great race so far. It always is the most entertaining Grand Tour for the armchair fan. I still think Dumoulin will win. But I don't want him to win. Quintana and Nibali don't seem to have the top form to attack. I have found myself in the A.O.B.T. (anyone but Tom) group...
