    Valverde a heavy favorite, followed by Dan Martin, Rui Costa and Gilbert. Very curious to see how Kwiatkowski will do, given his age and recent results with accompanying wear and tear. Also curious how Vanendert will do and what the deal is with Betancur.

    Surprised there has been no mention of Tom Jelte Slagter. Degenkolb and Matthews are definitely in good form as far as sprinters are concerned.
