I was clicking through the moto cameras a bit yesterday (available online via the French broadcaster), and Vauquelin and Remco only caught him inside the final ~km. So he must have been pretty empty in the end to still lose that much.
Here's the setup Vingegaard used during the recon this morning. I guess it's likely to be the same for the race - there's not much point in stripping off the paint for the recon only, at least.
that one was quite a bit steeper, though. Not sure a (mainly) 7-8% climb like today suits him as well, where it's more about generating power when seated.
Dumoulin thinks that Vingegaard will take the TT bike today. Evenepoel yesterday said he didn't know yet. Nothing from Pogacar, I think. Does Colnago still have that weight disadvantage?
I think Gregoire has a much better chance than Stewart, but in the end they will likely all get dropped by Pogi anyway, if it comes down to a battle from the peloton
