    Cadel looking ahead...

All the bigger name teams already have as strong or stronger GC riders and or have other objectives e.g. Quickstep. If he goes to one of these (if they'll take him) I see that he has to at best be joint leader or swallow his pride and be a super domestique ala Kloden.

    Official Lance Armstrong thread

I don't know if this has already been mentioned; I imagine it may have but I can't be bothered trawling through the 1170 posts!! which are all for one man!!!?, but one thing I do find interesting is that before the Tour and even before the Giro there were many on this site espousing as gospel...

Music! What are you listening to now?

Listen to my ipod always while riding - find it indispensable for long rides. Can hear traffic perfectly well so not as concerned as others - turning the volume down or using only one ear bud for instance..... I ride in mostly rural areas though so I'm sure that makes a difference. Music...

SBS Australia Coverage of the 2009 TDF vote here Good or Bad?

+ 10. The coverage is light years ahead from what it used to be. Lets hope we can get some more cycling - Giro, Vuelta, classics etc.

    Did Lance betray George?

If someone put figs in my fruit salad I'd probably be crying too. Disgusting.

SBS Australia Coverage of the 2009 TDF vote here Good or Bad?

First and foremost for me is being able to watch the race live without streaming it over the net. What did we have greater than 5 years ago? If I have to put up with Phil and Paul than that's okay with me. Personally I find their "mistakes", "Liggetisms" and "Sherwinisms" quite amusing. Matt...

Garmin can't afford to lose Ryder Hesjedal - he doesn't look too comfortable - left knee/leg popping out every from vertical every now and then..

At least back to seven now (Lotto). Wonder what's going through Cadel's mind right now......

Official thread - TdF Stage 4: Team Time Trial (Montpellier - Montpellier 38 km)

Serious moment of truth for Evans's chances overall. Not looking good. Will the real battle today in the overall scheme of things be Astana vs Saxo? Could today see the final podium been occupied by Astana?

    Lance now Astana team leader...

Don't know. Perhaps he's employing the classic reverse, switch, doubleback, backtrack tactic to confuse the issue. Let me just ring Lance on the 1800 LANCE number and find out. LA: Lance speaking. SB: Gidday Lance, it's Seth. LA: Seth! How're they hanging? SB: Low Lance, real low. So, working...

    Lance now Astana team leader...

Armstrong makes the break, others don't... IMO it could be due to luck, mind games, tactics or a rift in the team. Given Armstrong's experience I'm ruling out luck for the most part. RE the "rift", there's definitely the possibility of that for sure, but it could also be the mind games...
