Pogacar can attack so early that hilly specialists (Narvaez + Wellens) are enough to pace the bottom of the climb (and job is done).

Samuele Privitera crashed during the first stage of Val d'Aosta and apparently had to be resuscitated. He's now in critical conditions.

There are reports that he had a sudden heart related problem that made him crash, apparently the poor guy crashed straight into a gate...
