I already do indeed. That was logical racing. No watt bombs but eking out max performance at the end. That made sense. Nothing Pogacar, and quite some others, do does.

    Doping In Athletics

Not surprising unfortunately. She had less defenders than Pogacar but still a fair amount.

    State of the Peloton 2025

That sucks. I will go to Ventoux later this year. I always want to do it at a certain multiplier to the winners. Think Luz Ardiden for instance I did at ±1.6 times their time (I am slow) so for Ventoux it would mean I need to do it in 1h25. That does not sound like fun. Think I will need to...

I Thought it had to do with criminality of it in the justice system. Getting caught with doping is not criminal but possession or obstructing testing is. Not sure how it relates to other countries but penal code is one, chance of being charged another.

Your calculations are better. Apologies ! I outsourced the calculation (as I was lazily on my phone) and while it depends on fractional utilization assumption, efficiency etc. With an efficiency of 22 percent and fractional utilization of 85 I get a vo2max of 103. With fractional utilization...

Also, Niermann was not caught. He self admitted. That's why he is better than Gianetti. Great? No. Better? Definitely. People with such comments around Niermann and Gianetti are the biggest supporters of Omerta.

Unfortunately data by itself is never proof. That's why cycling has such a history with doping. Few are interested in finding proof. However, I was curious about the human limit. There is very little documentation on it as exceptions always apply. So not taking it as an absolute hurdle but...

https://archive.is/f29B2 A puff piece on why everything is amazing with Pogacar and UAE. Journalism is at all time low. I am waiting for articles on high cadence as the trick now.

    Mitochondrial Transplantation

It also seems that having more mitochondria increase uptake and utilisation of glucose. Perhaps a stretch but could explain increase of glucose intake as well. Since when tested through IV the uptake was lower than some cyclists now claim they can eat. While with IV it does not need to pass the...

    Mitochondrial Transplantation

Im definitely no expert, however author himself (McCully) is quoted that it is easy. Your copied text also states it only takes 20-30 minutes with their novel approach. So someone with more expertise can probably do it. He himself was asked about it by doctors associated to sports...

https://archive.is/qhv1F https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/02/14/new-doping-trick-why-scientists-fear-athletes-already-using/ Mitochondrial transplantation would require relatively simple equipment and expertise but could have benefits similar or greater than those felt from blood doping...
