Beautiful stage. So what does everyone think; if Frank and Armstrong weren't behind, could Andy have ridden away from Contador? Vice versa? Regardless, it won't be the last time those two have a "discussion" on a mountain stage!

I'm personally still pulling for Andy, but after the last stage find it difficult to imagine him besting Contador unless Alberto has un jour sans. Curious if, should Contador's lead be enough at the time, Astana will let Armstrong try for Ventoux...if of course he's feeling strong enough.

If other things don't get in the way... Though I would love to see Andy win, and Cancellara is aways a treat to watch, I can't see Contador going down if Armstrong works for him along with the rest of the strong Astana team. And I think Lance will, though Alberto may have to take time from him...
