Did the early leaders go on to win at the end of the year? Who dropped the most in the later part of the season - not that I'm concerned about my lack of cobble and Grand Tour riders............

After another great week, my mind obviously turns to those members of my team with zero points! Human nature being what it is, I'm not happy with their contribution. Stevie Williams and Robbe Ghys appear to be injured (so let them off) Senna Remijn and Mikel Landa haven't raced yet Finlay...

I don't want to start getting hated - but he's on my team. Not really sure why I picked him, but glad I did. Luck is holding - so hoping for Morgado win today!

Don't think I'll make 600 points this week, but can't be unhappy about the start of the season. I did look to get a quick start, picking some guys who looked like they would race a lot early in the year, but they are doing much better than I imagined - thanks Georg and Dani in particular! Not...

Steinhauser the biggest surprise if he can hold on in GC. I assumed he would only be good for breakaway stage wins and some one day points. But GC points would be gratefully received.

I suspect that is the end of my Matthews-picking for any games. Almost all his points from last year came in spring, so thought he might be good value and a good risky pick for a good finish in the Classics game. I also like supporting him in the races - but all for nothing. Not much fun...

Thanks. Happy with the team make-up at the moment, but every team is a couple of injuries away from disaster. Think I'm relying on Tiberi, Uijtebroeks and (maybe) Landa for long-term success, as these are rarer picks who have potential to score well or not at all (in the case of Uijtebroeks...

Agree. His points total is looking good so far, but it’s not too dissimilar to what he had this time last year. Just need him to keep going through spring

A nice Monday morning surprise - I'm sitting at the top of the CQGame web ranking, so keeping a snapshot of that! A good week. My score wasn't based on any clever, very rare picks. Rather it was based on me picking the correct combination of popular picks (Tiberi (rarish), Seixas, Eetvelt...

Wishing I had kept Riccitello in my team, surprised he was only picked by 6 teams, but there was a lot of competition at the 500 to 600 point level. Cut him for Uijtebroecks, who looks like he will frustrate me all year.

Nice to get a weekly win (with apologies to BiTB, but he has armfulls of wins). Tiberi and Laporte should be helping Morgado this week, so hopeful for another good finish. These are some of the best few weeks of the year with so many races and some random early season results

Great range of different rider choices and different teams - should lead to fun and volatile competition. Credit to armchair_cyclist! Thought I was smart picking Megan Arens as rare pick, before cutting and pasting the wrong Arens into my team. Anyway I'm now a fan of Maureen Arens!
