Is there a way to view the "old" good live page? Just simple text feed of what is happening, with time splits. I just want to read what the commentator is updating about the race.
New one with Tweets and other crap is just to busy. Really, who uses and like ****s? Very annoying...
Start off by volunteering at a bunch of races of the type you want to promote. Work everything... Registration, marshalling, setup, follow car, officiat, sponsorship..
After few years, then you will be ready to try promoting a small race.
1. Loose the White Space in the articles. Get rid of the unneeded or wanted middle link column. Use that space for article text and move the control to the side.
2. Loose the Underline of links on homepage. Half look like strike throughs. Since Everything is a link, it looses it's purpose...

On Latest Edition - Move the "Edition Archives" controll to the bottom of the page. Then widen the Latest Edition to 2 Columns wide so we can read it on a Laptop...

Loose the Underline for links on the front page. Just about everything is a link so is Underline overkill.
Make the Articles wider, like they where before. Loose the "Related Articles" / "Releated...
Toooo Many Columns
I vote for the old design...
3 Columns on the Ariticles is a bad design.
Max at 2 - Left Content - Right Ads. Loose the middle column. The articles have way to much wrapping now.
Put the links column as a row at the top or bottom of the column.
