    RIP GCN+

Thanks Armchair and Awavey I think my Discovery+ via Sky is the £6.99 one - I can currently watch cycling on the streaming service, but I can't watch the TNT channel on Sky. I think I just need to wait a month and see what happens. I do wonder if the TNT package will be one of those things I...

    RIP GCN+

Does this mean that the Discovery+ online streaming service will disappear from 28-Feb as well? Or just that to access it one will have to pay the exorbitant subscription? Asking as my Sky TV and Broadband contract says I get Discovery+ for 'free' until December

    Team Ineos Discussion thread

Cummings always seemed an odd choice for a DS. He raced his bike in an atypical fashion, and he was not afraid of upsetting an applecart or two, both of which made him a favourite of mine. But, I'm not sure they are attributes I'd want in a DS. IG are in a mess, and I have no idea if all these...

Tour de France 2025 route rumours and announcements

Have we really got two of the dullest stages on the weekend of 12th & 13th? Seems odd. Beside that - it's OK, I'd give it 4/10.

Commentary on TNT and other WB brands

I totally agree, it's an own-goal: short-termism at its worst.

Ex pro cyclists cropping up in unexpected places

Fabian Cancellara (and possibly some Tudor U23s) crop up in the BBC's "Paddy and Chris: Road Tripping". Series 1, Episode 3, from about 45:50. It is a 'meh' show about two 50 years olds trying to get healthier, that is more enjoyable for the scenery of the countries involved (and I don't mean...

Track Cycling at the 2024 Olympics

My thoughts on some earlier comments: 1. The officiating has been awful. By this stage we should be seeing some consistency and it's just not there, when one sees an infringement one just doesn't have a clue which way the decision will go (unless it favour Benjamin Thomas). 2. I am British, and...

Teams & Riders Mark Cavendish Discussion Thread

I believe it is so that the official celebrations like Trooping the Colour have a better chance of decent weather? It's been bloody cold this June mind.

    Murcia - Almeria - Jaen (February 10th, 11th & 12th)

I agree, Van Aert maintains his line as compared to the white line on the road, but the barriers funnel slightly squeezing those over his right shoulder. Not WVAs fault. We really need to look at the placement of barriers at sprint finishes.

The 2024 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

I found it more of a challenge this year, fewer 500+ 'must have' picks means more choice IMHO. I've been a bit of a homer this time too: GBR 6 Ned & Bel 4 each Col, Fra, USA 2 each EF 5 INEOS 4 Astana & DSM 3 each Visma, Lidl, Quickstep, Intermarche, FDJ 2 each Age range is 18-38, average is...

    Tour de Pologne 2023 (July 29th - August 4th)

Thanks. It seems a bit odd that the WT stage race following the TdF isn't available on TV, surely it's a chance to capitalise on that increased interest? There must be some financial barrier somewhere. At least the cricket's on.

    Tour de Pologne 2023 (July 29th - August 4th)

Does any one know if this race is on TV in the UK? Various websites says it's on Sky or Eurosport, but I can't see it. Thanks
