Major props for Major Tom! Kept his cool, rode like an experienced GC contender. Perhaps should have kept his mouth shut on one of two occasions, but def a great achievement! Great for Dutch cycling after the Dutch curse struck 'a few' times in recent years. Good to see Dutch cycling really...

Re: Is it luck or is it something else? It isn't just the presumably mentally less strong riders that keep crashing (looking at you Kelderman!) but also mentally stronger riders like Dumoulin and Kruijswijk. Maybe the Dutch are not so good in steering? ;-)

Kelderman still has loads of talent. No two riders evolve the same way. Look at Froome; at age 23 he finished 84th in the TdF. At the same age Kelderman finished 7th in the Giro. Kelderman needs to evolve further to become a real GC contender, I think that he needs to focus on his mental...

He's Looking really strong but let's not forget he was on a podium place in the TdF before and cracked, idem with his Vuelta debut. The third week seems to be his weakest in general. U hope he can sustain his current form, podium should be possible for him then

Bad decision. Why should Froome and Porte get Mollema's time? Would Porte and Mollema have fitten Froome's time if Froome was able to ride further and Mollema wasn't? I dont think so, so it's a bad decision from the uci.
