To be fair to Vine, this one is difficult without a single teammate. Didn't watch when the breakaway went, but I can imagine that Jayco weren't too keen on drilling it with Vine in their wheels. And it's not easy to cover absolutely everything.

I did some numbers just for fun. If you take Pog's 2025 season and put Remco in the spot directly behind Pog in every race and stage (and minus the leader jerseys), he'd get 3239 points, compared to Pog's 5080. Which shows what a huge difference it is if you're a serial winner at that level...

I'm not sure it's the usual CQ mistake of just putting the wrong guy in there though. The identical birth date tells me it's supposed to be the same guy, they just had the surname(s) wrong for some reason.

Okay, I see that PCS, which is the more reliable source, has the same guy winning both this year and last. I just glanced at CQ and saw Arlex José Mendez Carrero winning this year and Arlex José Rueda Caceres winning last year. But they are listed with the same birth date. Hopefully nobody...

He's becoming elite in his specialty, so I would have preferred if he went all-in on the Ardennes.
