    Tour of Denmark 2025 (12/8 - 16/8)

Just as decided as before the race, I'd say. Inevitable Pedersen victory barring funny Lidl tactics to gift the win to someone else on the team.

Well, he really hasn't been sandbagging on the track.

Bahrain rider looked the worst off from the brief glimpse we got. Might have been Tiberi. But he was also conscious and moving.

Could also be that all vehicles behind the peloton got blocked on that narrow road where the crash happened, when the doctor's car stopped to tend to the crashed riders.

    That's highly likely the reason.

Teams & Riders The Great Big Cycling Transfers, Extensions, and Rumours Thread

That is an actual interesting transfer. Even though this would have been even more interesting with a high-level GC rider, I love when big stars are spread across many different teams, and particularly if small teams also have some stars. Now Groenewegen might be a bit over the hill, but can...

Álvarez is also officially unsigned, isn't he? And the junior ranks do at least have some promising 2008 kids. But you're right that the 2007 generation doesn't look too great at the moment.

The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

Ouch, that makes my end-of-Tour result look even worse. Hardly anyone game-relevant scored in Wallonie, so my 32 Del Grosso points would make me one of the better-scoring teams from that race. This might potentially also hamper my score from San Seb week, as I had some decent points from that...

Teams & Riders Official Wout Van Aert thread

That's the Big 6. WVA was never part of any Big 4. The original Big 4 was Froome, Contador, Nibali, Quintana, and the modern version is Pog, Vingegaard, Remco, Roglic. MVDP and WVA were added to make it the Big 6, but if any combination of those riders should be reduced back to four it would be...

The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

47th on the week while having the TdF runner-up who is on only 33 teams was not what I was hoping for. And the top 2 pulls away despite not having Vingegaard. Bring on the Vuelta.

    Lesser known races 2025 edition

That's a seriously brutal time trial won by Rodrigo Contreras in the Vuelta a Colombia today. 33km mountain TT with 31.5 of them being uninterrupted climbing (though some shallow gradients towards the top).

    Tadej Pogacar and Mauro Giannetti

That interview could single-handedly fill several pages of the Names for dope and doping! thread. 'Bigger buttocks', 'unlucky with team leader', 'devoted more time to physical training', 'listen to competitor's breathing' ... :tearsofjoy:

Well, everybody has to start somewhere. Lipowitz has been a pro for two and a half years. A TdF podium is about as established as anyone not named Pog or Vingegaard can get nowadays. Who else would be a better signing (hypothetically, as I don't really believe that article)?
