Would have lost my house, as the four riders I had in mind included Remco but not Roglic (although I should have, cuz he's always great at these things). But at least Plapp got the 5th place. Really impressive!

Not really what I said. I'm not as confident as yaco about Plapp's top 5 chances, but there are only four riders who I'd bet my house on beating him.

Well, of the guys who were ahead of him in the first TT, he's definintely gonna finish ahead of Almeida, Romeo and Affini and probably Armirail. Of the riders who were behind him, the only one I'm confident will definitely beat him is Vingegaard.

According to Axelgaard at Danish TV2 the forecast showed more favourable wind for the early starters.

This is kinda my point (the bolded). :D I think if Vingegaard did Lipowitz' pacing 'strategy' he'd have a bigger gap to Lipowitz. Remco should do well today. At least 4th behind Lipowitz, if not 3rd.

I think Vingegaard's demise is slightly exaggerated. For a long time yesterday he was almost a minute ahead of the other GC guys. Think it was just a slight case of O'Connor syndrome and that he'll be somewhat comfortably clear of the rest today.

I know this is off-topic, but what?! On topic, it's nice to see some actual smoke and fire harking back to the glory days of The Clinic. There were so many shady connections around Team Sky that something more had to come up sooner or later. Guess we have to wait another ten or so years for...

Oh man, I can hear that in Kirby's self-satisfied voice already. But great to see Onley doing well. When he surprised everyone in that Tour of Croatia, he actually said that he thought he was better on longer climbs. It's nice to see him finally showing it. Top 5 definintely looks possible now.

Combined with most of the best riders being collected in just a few teams. Almeida, Ayuso and Del Toro on different teams would have been nice to see. But yeah, hasn't been much of a refill from behind to replace the declining guys like Roglic, Carapaz, Landa, even Thomas until recently. As seen...
