Is this for the likes of Healy, Hirschi & Higuita!? Otherwise I would look at Lenny Martinez, Alex Baudin, maybe even Ewen Costiou!

I'll eat my heat if Denk doesn't get fired like Lavenu after the Tour de France!

Had a puncture and wasted quite some energy to get back in the final. Just like Paul Penhoet who nevertheless appeared at the front all of the sudden, but was too spend to play a role in the sprint. That chips section on the final climb seems to have caused quite some flat tires.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 9: Chinon – Châteauroux (174.1k)

It has been neither particularly good nor bad IMHO! It's only those 2 sprint stages on Saturday & Sunday to save the interesting Central Massif stage for Bastille Day! Saturday & Sunday were a decent opening weekend. The TT was decent and Healy's stage win was quite nice.

My oh my. Even the Scots have won a grand tour more recently! 😯

He's very eloquent indeed! Maybe Eurosport should have tried to make a commentator from him? Migels isn't getting younger after all.

Sprint stages absolutely belong into the Tour de France and the best sprinter should be favored to win the green jersey. Sprinters are a very unique & distinctive category of riders and thus should be rewarded with their own competition & victories. That said, if teams like Total Energies or...

Pantani was in pink, purple & green when he was thrown out of the 1999 Giro d'Italia! To at least answer the question partially.

There also might be a situation towards La Plagne / Col den la Loze where UAE doesn't need to keep the breakaway in check anymore and Visma takes the gamble to pressure Quick Step into smoking Paret-Peintre, Van Wilder & Cattaneo. Dunno if Ineos with Arensman after the Giro d'Italia and aging...

Aru was about to crack completely. If Astana had abandoned him in order to reeled-in Contador it would have been game over for the Sardinian! It seems like only Jean-Claude Leclercq & me remember that situation!

Aru would have lost his podium spot to Amador if Astana had reeled-in Contador for Landa towards Verbania. 🤣🤣🤣 Landa lost that Giro d'Italia because Astana protected the weaker rider.

Gall hasn't ridden such a bad TT @Mayomaniac . Lost less than 2 minutes on Vingegaard & Roglic and less than 1 minutes on Carlos Rodriguez!

1992 certainly didn't do that! Crazy how Ciapucchi managed to finish 2nd on that route with only 2 proper mountain stages. The 1994 Tour de France however absolutely did!
