We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
Who are you people to chase Roglic out of RBH? Leave him the f*** alone. @Filippo_3467? Bora didn't bring Primoz for the sole purpose of winning TDF, they brought him in to be a mentor to their young and to create the winning culture in the team. That's why they paid him millions.
And he did...
At that point, it would be a smart decision to stick with the Yellow group and eventually wait for the Onley's group. RBH wouldn't lose any time in GC. The Lipovitz attack on the Loze didn't make any sense at that point.
Lipowitz is good enough to defend himself against Onley. He has to stay on his wheels all the time, and he should be 3rd. Roglic, in the meantime, can stage hunt.
Bora try to put Roglic into 4th overall GC and be a team with two riders in the top 5 GC.
Lipowitz is strong enough to defend himself alone.
You can also call today's tactic a some kind of insurance policy in case Lipowitz blows himself in the last two mountain stages.

My dream sequence is as follows.
Rogla early attacks on 18 stage. Pogi and Vinge let him go (why worried for a guy who is 8 minutes back), but then a storm comes between Rogla group an Yellow jersey group. Roglic gloriously cycle in the sun with some other riders (no GC contenders) in the...
