    Transfers and Rumours 2012 > 2013

I mean I don't spend a hell of a lot of time on these forums but it becomes evident to any sensible human being that although Hazuki has a good idea about some aspects of cycling that others dont, his tendancy to convey his bold opinions as if it's gospel rasons for why I often discard comments...

    Transfers and Rumours 2012 > 2013

3 scenarios 1. Successor to Matt White as DS at GE 2. He really does simply want to spend more time with his family 3. Was the bleeped out name on 7.30 report and has decided to get out and turn himself in. I would describe myself as being confident that the first scenario will turn...

    Transfers and Rumours 2012 > 2013

Correct me if i'm wrong but OGE are not full for next year. With Wilson, Bobridge and McEwen departing this year and just Matthews and Bewley in. Durbridge and Hepburn still neo's so 30 still allowed I believe. I think in regards to your question it doesn't really make sense for OGE to sign...

    Transfers and Rumours 2012 > 2013

Yea the duration of the contract was undisclosed. But for a new team that last year was basing its marketing around bobridge and the two meyers being the furture of Australian cycling when they announced them as their first signings, one would expect them to have signed relatively long...

    Tour Rider Selection and Roles

I think that is what the team will be too. Lovikist is battling Knees and his Knees for a spot. Pretty sure GE team will be Goss Lancaster Cooke Impey O'Grady Langeveld Albasini Gerrans Weening. I'll be very surprised if they select Davis. Most guys there are pretty fast if they can make it...

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

Where did you hear that Porte signed a 3 year deal?? I recall hearing Matt White talking as if Richie had signed a two year deal and that they would look to talk again in two years when Greenedge's goals might align better with Porte's goals... I don't think Cooke will retire for a long time...

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

That's why it is a perfect fit... Orica have a vehicle through which to improve their Public image... and GreenEDGE have the money required to run a cycling team... THAT'S HOW SPONSORSHIP WORKS! its not like theres a plethora of Australian companies crawling over each other to sponsor an...

    Transfers and Rumours 2011 > 2012

He's 24 but he's only been riding full time on the road since May... and the people around him were surprised that he won the 207 odd km Norfolk classic here in Australia. I think the type of races Chipotle ride will do him good for a season or two. Then move somewhere bigger. It's true that...

    (Mostly) French Super Team

Yea would be cool. Would be a fun PCM project. Sicard, Dupont and those U23 road race kids would be good additions too.

I'm not proposing he ride the whole tour, just til the first rest day perhaps. Usually i'd be against entering a young rider into the tour without the aim of finishing but in an olympic year, for the purpose of riding for olympic gold it doesn't bother me. I would say Thomas should do the same...

Jayco al-'Ula and its GreenEdge predecessors

What does everyone think that Bobridge should do in regards to his targets/race schedule for next year? The olympics will most likely be a goal but with a (6.1km) prologue in the tour, a distance where along with Wiggo + Martin, Bobridge is the fastest in the world, would it be worth it...

    Transfers and Rumours 2011 > 2012

Exactly what I thought when I read that post. It would have been a tactical error to have not put thomas on the front - same with froome. It's is absurd to say its absurd!
