    Broken transponders from the start were Thomas, Knees and Chris Anker Sorensen. So they don't appear on the TV screen, or in any of the intermediate splits, but someone is slotting them into the positions at the end of each lap.

    Could have had another hour in bed.... If the BBC coverage really does start at 11.40 pm, I reckon it will be picture only for about 19 minutes. And I really hope we don't get another three hour track discussion like last year.
