Froome. And if he keeps taking what Sir Brailsford gives him he won't need a bicycle to break the record again.

I have no idea what you're trying to say. Or where you're coming from. Are you from Albania?

WADA the Toothless Tiger or the Unwilling Tiger?

To me, the fact that it takes them an average of 100+ tests to get these guys to produce a positive, if at all, proves how futile the effort is. These folks have been doing this for many, many years, so they should know when and how to bust someone. Yet, people like Armstrong or Froome keep...

Well... no, not at all. Up until Tom took off, they really didn't know what shape Stannard was in. So that was his way of finding out. And no, Boonen disagrees with you because he actually rode the race. You didn't.

Boonen's move made sense because up to that point they didn't know how fresh Stannard was. The Brit's ability to reel back Tom should've been a red flag and a big cue to go on to plan B and go for the sprint option.

Tom Boonen disagrees with you. But hey, who is he to disagree with you.

The more important question is how can a man with such dubious performance up and downs pass all the pertinent drug tests. I mean, this guy HAD to be glowing SOMETHING that day. WTF was WADA looking for? Twinkies? Gatorade?

I'm not talking about the "earlier surge," I'm talking about the last attack from Terpstra, the one that left Tom for dead. Why is it that some have a frigging reading comprehension problem?

I didn't say Terpstra is/was stupid, I said his attack was a really dumb move. All three Etixx guys were fairly spent with 10-15 kilometers to go trying to keep the other contenders at a decent distance. The only problem was that, in doing so, they hauled Stannard's culo grande (fat rear end)...

Methinks the end is more simple than people think: Boonen puts in a good attack in the wrong place and is slowly brought back. Once Stannard gets to Boonen, Terpstra launches what is probably the dumbest attack in recent times, exposing Boonen AND Vandenbergh, instead of the Brit. Stannard makes...

Stannard's victory yesterday is certainly not representative of anything.

I agree with the no-dope-here group on Stannard. This was Etixx-QuickStep's blunder more than the Brit's doing. I mean, they f*cked up big time. They carried this guy to exhaustion and then Ian just took off. Simple as that. Booned must've been fuming after the race.

    Froome/Contador Andalucia

Regardless of the drama that may unfold... if Alberto and Chris keep one-upping each other like this past two years, something will give way. I can't wait until one, or both, test positive. :D

    Froome/Contador Andalucia

I think his obsession with the TdF clouded everything else. He never really developed a liking for anything else because, at the end of the day, he wasn't really into cycling, he was into the fame and fortune that came with being a cancer survivor AND winning the TdF. If Froome/Contador were...

    Froome/Contador Andalucia

It's all about taking PEDs certain times during the year (glow time) and regular blood transfusions. I suspect that because of the blood passport these guys now have to keep a higher form plateau that is closer to competition form than before, that's why it's so easy for them to get in shape...
