Rogla flexing his muscles, what a dumb arrogant move. He should learn to race more with his head ;).

Easy to lose "only 4 sec" when you pace as if the finish line is at the first time check... The poor pacing by Bora largely explains why they lost almost double the time loss of SOQ in the second half. So yeah, not optimal preparation by them.

Rate the 2024 Tour de France Route

A rest day and a stage starting from my home town, therefore a perfect 10 for me! Besides, I love the start in Italy and the early Alpine stage.

World Championships 2023: Men's Road Race (August 6)

Is there a risk they might shorten the race because of this ? Less laps in the circuit  ?

World Championships 2023: Men's Road Race (August 6)

A while ago, I spent some time at the Strathclyde University building located right on Montrose Street... Absolutely shocking gradients... Very short ramp, but you cannot enter it with a lot of speed because of the 90° turn just before. With all the sharp turns in these short city streets...

    Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2023, one day monument, April 23 (men's)

Any ideas on what actually happened on La Redoute? What I saw: Remco seemed to hesitate for a very long time, to the point that Van Wilder did not know what to do; Once he attacked, his punch did not seem that strong, barely making a gap with Pidock (maybe because of the reduced length of La...

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

I kind of agree, however if you look closely, Remco had many moments of vulnerability and somewhat spectular failures in the last two seasons: he does not win half of week races's stages like his counterparts. You can sense that he carefully picks his peaks and that each stage victory is really...

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

Remco is the true people's champ, ala Rocky Balboa. He is mankind's last hope against current super-mutants Pogi, Vingo and Rogla. Anyone who really loves cycling should make it their duty to back Remco this Sunday, otherwise we will enter a very dark age in professional racing. One can...

What about LBL 2022 :smirk: ? The constant need for Remco to prove himself is baffling here....

Ronde van Vlaanderen - Tour des Flandres 2023, one day monument, April 2 (men's)

The anticipated showdown between the "Big 3" won't happen after all... This serves them right! Very open race for the front group right now!
