Let me rephrase then. As I said, we are in general agreement and put aside that some wires may have been inadvertently crossed. I do not have the same access level and history as you, but when I have my chances, I don't hold back and I still have my doubts about the whole peloton and the...

Perhaps if you acted like an adult you would be able to chat with people offline and get the real story.

Power Data Estimates for the climbing stages

This thread is about power estimates for climbing, the issues with estimating such and the plausibility of certain performance levels. This thread is not about whether any individual rider is doping. Do I think that Froome's performance is suspicious? Absolutely. In fact, in the...

You are the one who needs therapy. BTW, I did address "Mr. Verifiable Facts" in person, face-to-face. The subsequent discussion with his stooge Arnie Baker became quite heated.

If you really think that you are not only a total *** but giving yourself too much self-credit than you deserve. First of all, Dr. Coyle had his doubts about Armstrong and undertook the student with reservations. Second, the paper is not shoddy, there was an acknowledged calculation mistake...

Do you all "commoners" lack short-term memory or is it just you? For the nth time, I am not defending any rider of doping. In addition, for the nth time, I am pretty skeptical of all professional athletes and PEDs, not just cyclists. And, for the nth time, I have no problem addressing my...

Power Data Estimates for the climbing stages

No "science guy" here that I know of is denying that any specific rider is doping. All the science guys are trying to do is: a) explain plausible performance limits; 2) and the practical problems of using such to detect doping.

It was merely one piece of data to make a point. You don't have to believe his numbers if you do not want to... :D Then, I ask you what is the benchmark that you propose to accuse riders by? What do you consider plausible performance and what is you evidence?

Power Data Estimates for the climbing stages

As doping controls become stricter and stricter, the "apparent" emergence of outlier performance becomes more possible. Conversely, those less naturally physically gifted, whose championship level performance relied upon doping would start to drift to the back of the pack. Just like what...

Power Data Estimates for the climbing stages

Earlier, I alluded to a study prior to EPO's emergence that included elite amateur American cycling champions, while several went on to become professionals, none was of any note. The most powerful had an FTP of 5.0 w/kg and the average was 4.75 w/kg. No professional dopes "to get to 4.5...

This topic is not about whether a specific individual dopes.
