Actually Vacek was still at front controlling the pace. Probably the other teams did not knew Pedersen is so much at the back with Vacek going full gas. Coming back to Vacek wheel and Vacek still being capable to do a lead-out after 2km in front of a finish stage was impressive.

I remember Andy Schleck following Cancellara fabulously on the cobbles during the 2010 Tour, with Cadel Evans also in his wheel.

In today's cycling, it seems like everyone is still intimidated by the stars and has forgotten the power of the group. No one cooperates anymore. I remember the years when Cancellara would lose the cobbled classics, even though he was clearly the strongest, because the others cooperated against him.

He repeatedly cut off other riders. He doesn't have any respect for the other riders.

So stages are got boring and boring. They truly ride just some stages because they do not want to waste too much energy, they tell us that they race according the numbers they see on their powermeters and now they cut stages because they don't feel like riding. Who they think will watch this...
