Looking back at 2024 I'm still super impressed by Vingegaard's recovery and participation in the tour and think it was an extraordinary feat. I still have strong hopes for a highly competitive (if injury free) 2025 tour de france.

UAE Tour Strade MSR -insert a race here perhaps- RVV Ardennes Doesn't have to be many race days, but I do concede that if he truly wants to go for a MSR win at 100% shape it might be a long spring peaking wise.

Hope the UAE classics team will be prepared for MSR next year. I'm not convinced a tour against a fully fit and injury free Vinge will in any way be easy but MSR does seem like his biggest obstacle (racing wise) from a potentially "perfect" 2025. Races to win: MSR RVV Ardennes treble (?) TDF...

A lot of people here has clearly forgot the climbing prowess of Rujano but oh well.

By pure top performance I think he is, but GOATedness is inherently also a palmares game. He needs another 2 tours, another giro and ideally a Vuelta or 2 on top of some more classics. He can perhaps trade a couple of GCs for a PR and MSR though. If he is this exeptional for the next 3-5 years...

I think if this season didn't have the olympics a treble would've been possible. I just can't see it fit in a schedule that requires to keep it at 100% even in the week after the tour

I think this season as a whole has shown that he is way better than what he was coming back last year. I expect to see him fighting for gc again next year in perhaps a mediocre giro field.

Craziest climbing performance we have ever seen in this sport. Pogi (and Vinge) have taken the sport into a new era of performance.
