The 2026 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

Well I picked him last year, and as a Norwegian obviously considered him this year too. But there are so many possible good picks arounf 200 points, so I opted for Poole at 215 points, Gautherat at 213 points and Finn at 211 points as better options in that price range.

I was half right. Iker Mintegi was a uqnique pick for me in 2025 and is also a unique pick in 2026. He crashed when in the winning break on the last stage in Andalucia in February, and didn't score a single point after May. So I'm confident that he should at least double his score this year...

The 2026 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

I had 5 unique picks in 2025. Two of them are in my 2026 as well. And I think one of them will be my only qnigue pick this year.

The 2026 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

While waiting for the big reveal, I have found that I will probably be dead last on the first updates like in 2024. I have no Aussies or Kiwis in my team. And based on the provisional start list on PCS I have only four riders in TDU with a total cost of less than 700 points...

Team submitted! No rider in +700 point range, and probably most suprising to me, no less than nine French riders (I actually had 12 at one point). If you simply take the average from CQ Excel file the average age is 23,85 years, so probably 24 and a bit in reality. So now I just have to wait one...

The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

First draft created for 2026 with a good bottle of wine tonight. I dropped all 0 pointers from my first draft for the 2025 season, which proved to be my worst decision ever. Seems to be a less talented bunch of zero pointers for the 2026 edition, but I will probably miss some obvious picks...

Magnus Sheffield seems an obvious one for your list. And Tiller (Rasmus) is an area/community just outside Trondheim in Norway. Also a lot of small places in Norway called Holter (Ådne)

Not many points in the baby Giro, but still quite happy today with my unique pick Pavel Novak:)

    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2025 Stage 17: San Michele all’Adige – Bormio, 155 km

UAE has a difficult strategic decision to make tomorrow. Will they try to "babysit" Del Toro safely through, just to maybe risk losing it all on Finestre? Or shall they try to put Adam Y and/or McNulty in the breakaway to force other teams to chase, and maybe even put three riders back into...

The 2025 CQ Ranking Manager Thread

Ok, so I am one of six managers who scored 200 points today with the Van Aert, Torres, Rondel combination. But the thing that really put a smile on my face was the 10 points my unique pick Iker Mintegi scored for his 11th place in Doubs :). Could be that this mindset prevents me from doing...

Paris-Roubaix 2025, one day monument, April 13 (men)

Fedorov was 14th last year. He had a mechanical in Arneberg and was only Astana rider in the front group. He has shown much better form this year, so I think he is a very interesting outsider for a top 6 tomorrow!
