I don't know that Andy is every going to be a consistent GT winner because of his time trialing. But he will consistently be in the top three of every one he enters and he will steal a 1-3 Tours over the course of his career and maybe a Giro or Vuelta.

Knowing the time checks will be a big advantage for Andy. I still think if Cuddles couldn't pull back Sastre in '08 he can't pull back the much better Schleck, but Cadel has been extremely impressive this year so who knows

I'd say Andy needed a lot more than 57 seconds, except people seem to be forgetting that Cadel isn't a great TTer anymore. Sastre is a terrible TTer and if he couldn't beat Sastre out of yellow, he can't beat Andy out of yellow. My guess is it is more likely that Cuddles can take time out...

I think Frank has been pretty strong this year. Unlikely anyone can stay with him all out on a climb. Even Andy.
