Sweetly so, almost as ironic, in fact, as answering "yes" ! Walter

Bike apps for i phone and android phones.

Not strictly a Not strictly a cycling app, but I use cardiotrainer on my android and find that it works pretty well to keep track of my rides. A friend uses endomondo, I think that it may be better than cardiotrainer. Walter

    rides in San Juan, PR?

Yes, there is a lot of traffic in SJ, but there are lots of folks riding also as the sport has grown a lot in popularity here. As I said above, I'd call the shops before coming over to see if its worthwhile. I live and ride mostly along the west and southern coast where we have many kms of...

    rides in San Juan, PR?

Hi Brent. I ride and race on the West Coast of PR. I am not very familiar with riding in the SJ area, but do know that there are a lot of strong cyclists out there. I also know that traffic in many areas around there is very heavy, so you really need to hook up with a group of locals who are...

    Dog movies

Not a tear jerker, but... for a rather (amusingly) weird dog movie, check out Baxter. IIRC its a french movie, late '80s or '90s.

    Laurent Fignon died

RIP Laurent Laurent Fignon, along with Hinault and Lemond, were the stars that made me fall for cycling back in the early 80's. I always remember Fignon for his grace on the bike and the great battles he put up against Hinault and later Lemond. It saddens me to know that he no longer is around.

    103 F at 7:10pm

Yep, that happens a lot here, but we have the additional limitation that, being down here in the tropics, even in summer, its too dark to ride after about 6:30pm.

    103 F at 7:10pm

That is pretty impressive, even more so at 7:00pm! Where are you located? I'm in Puerto Rico, last week there was one day I felt very wasted after an 80k ride in the hills. Since it felt really hot, I checked the weather service site, 116 F (heat index)!

    Delaware

Hi all, and greetings from Puerto Rico. I don’t post all that much here, but I’ve been reading the forum for quite some time. Anyway, I’ll be working at the University of Delaware in Newark DE during June and July. I’ve been there before and always see folks riding around, but was wondering...
