    Tadej Pogacar and Mauro Giannetti

I don't know the mechanics of the post-ride / pre-podium time, but if he has time for a shower, his blood is back to normal levels. I'm not sure the vampires work post-stage, either. I think that's a morning routine. Landis probably got bagged blood, but his bag had leftover T from early...

Bagged blood. There's really nothing else that does that overnight and was the whole deal with Aderlass.

    The Rohan Dennis thread

Doesn't matter if it was in his head or the bike or the helmet, the sports beverage or dimples on his skinsuit. He won. There's a certain panache to that.

I hope so. Nothing like making a stink and backing it up with your legs. Good on him.

Tour de France 2017 Stage 12: Pau > Peyragudes 214.5km

Re: Re: I meant Heras ca. 2001-2003, but a Beltran reference would have been equally appropriate.

    Website hacked?

I am barely able to view the website as I get repeated redirects to a game app website ccss.play.king.com. I don't see these as ads on the website, so it's not a matter of accidentally clicking them. Only seems to be on my mobile and only on CN. Happens on main page or within articles.

    Ketones... the latest super fuel?

I would not consume extra ketones as part of my diet. Far more likely you suffer from the side effects such as protein cross linking. Fingernail polish remover used to have acetone (dimethyl ketone) in it (some brands might still), but it is not advised for pregnant or nursing women. Paint...

    Badzilla, the disease of champions

Thanks for posting separately, I missed this one in the Froome thread. Informative... edit: My first thought is that this is an excellent way to re-establish a baseline for the BioPassport, i.e. please ignore all the #'s we have on this guy, he had/has a RBC-killing disease that we're still...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

You know, something just hit me as I thought about when I have seen something like this before. It wasn't that long ago a certain Philippe Gilbert was seemingly winning every other race he entered (2011). With 2012, it was like the switch flicked from ON to OFF, until the World Championships...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

For the record (and you can look this up on Weather Underground or whatever favorite weather site you frequent)... The wind was almost directly out of the north at 15-20 km/h: Weather Underground 14 July Orange, France I am not sure how that plays out on the road as the route took them WNW up...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

I was just thinking the same thing, I think... I recalled Discovery Channel having an off day in 2005 on stage 8. They were such innovators, pre marginal gains and all that. edit: And on that stage 8, Hincapie lost his 2nd place overall. :D
