    74ª Volta a Portugal 15/08 to 26/08

McCartney was 3rd in the 2007 Tour of California, and I remember hearing a story that he hadn't touched his bike for the better part of a month before the race. Just some skiing when felt like it. An n=2 isn't much of a sample size, but less training more winning? That would be awesome! edit...

    2012 Volta ao Algarve

agreed. Looks like the gap is out to 2:52 min at 100km http://www.voltaalgarve.com/?page_id=599 I'd love to see these guys duke it at the end, but I'm guessing they don't have much of a shot. Anyone have any ideas on how big of a problem that bump at the end is going to be? A bunch...

    Tour Mediterranen

The black garmin jerseys look to be cold weather & rainy weather gear. they were the same last year, too (i think)

    Giro del Piemonte 1.HC 199km (13/10)

Thanks for that! Alright Garmin! Way to miss the boat on that one! Anyway, interesting group, for sure. I'd love Txurruka to win, but if I were to bet, I'd takle GVA or Roche.

    Giro del Piemonte 1.HC 199km (13/10)

I love the translations of the tickers. There are 30 fugitives 7:30 ahead with 70km to go. At this point I would consider them to be less of fugitives, and more of "runners" or a different term that gets lost in translation. It would be sweet if they could get us a rundown of who all is there

    Lidl-Trek (no longer Radioshack-Leopard Trek)

That is just the stock Trek XO2 CX bike. Horner has had a similar one the past couple of years to ride the CX circuit here in the US. It is kind of nice to see that a bike that us mortals can afford is apparently good enough for pro roadies to mess around on.

Canadian WT Races: GP de Quebec (9/9) and GP de Montreal (11/9)

I have no idea if it is possible, but a johnny hoogerland win would be a great start to the weekend

Canadian WT Races: GP de Quebec (9/9) and GP de Montreal (11/9)

Last year there was a race sponsored feed; it didn't have commentary but the footage was good. Hopefully that comes through again this year.
