    Tim Wellens thread

He can only do this kind of thing because he is no threat in the GC. Okay, he is good and sometimes has nice results, but if the big guys are good and on their terrain Wellens has to let them go. I really don't believe in a monument for him at this time...

Teams & Riders Tom Dumoulin discussion thread

The last 5 seasons 31 riders of the top 15 in the Giro did Romandia before. So an average of more than 6 per season. In 2012 and 2014 there were riders on the podium who did Romandia, so it's not bad if you tackle it with the correct attitude (not like Zakarin and Dumoulin this year so).

Teams & Riders Tom Dumoulin discussion thread

He will have problems for sure in the third week, just like Zakarin will have the same problems in the third week. There will be a lot of pressure and imo it's only a matter of time untill he cracks. I think he knows that too. The last 10 seasons only 2 riders who used Romandia as last...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Re: Re: I think the cobbles won't be a major problem this year. If they set a stable pace with thomas they should be okay. I'm just guessing about the b-plan. When henao was very good at pais vasco he immediately took it a little bit easy(?, just guessing otherwise he should have been...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Who will be the last man before froome in the TDF? Seems like an interesting question.... With poels, thomas, ... They have very nice riders to set the pace until there are maybe 20 or 30 riders left. Possibly the second skyman can get a good placing that way in the GC. It looks like henao...

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 9: Arc-et-Senans → Besançon (ITT) (41.5 km)

Patrick Lefevre declared today that he could go for the win. I doubt this is true, but it shows he is OK I think...

    2012 Tour de France: Stage 9: Arc-et-Senans → Besançon (ITT) (41.5 km)

Monfort should do well. Finished third in Suisse last month and did this TT three times in his preparation. He will be motivated ttoo because he missed the decisive group today for just a couple of metres on the top of the last climb...

Tour de France Jerseys Speculation Thread

Will Cavendish be interested in the Green then? Or will he let it to guys like Boasson Hagen, Hushovd, Petacchi, ... to be tired with the intermediate sprint? In any case it looks like a difficult course for the "real" sprinters Greipel, Cavendish, Farrar, ...

Tour de France Jerseys Speculation Thread

Green Jersey in the TDF? Anyone has a good sight who is going for the green this year? There are a couple of stages where sprinters like Rojas, Hushovd, Goss, ... have some chances to make a big gap with other favorites... Then you have the intermediate sprint with 15(!) points for the...
